Sophie James is an 8 yr old showjumper based in the Wirral where she currently competes her two ponies: 
Barley Boy - is 128cm, 16 year old who has just been introduced to BS, hoping to compete at British Novice Second rounds next year. Sophie is competing him at 80/85cm, the aim is step up to Springboard classes (90/95cm) over the winter and qualify for The Nationals and Blue Chip Finals next year. Mintfield Magic - is a 128cm 17 year old JA pony. Sophie will start taking him out to shows  and is slowly building up their partnership together. Sophies main aims for both ponies this year are to compete at Premier Pony Shows and Home Pony International Shows.
her results of 2020 include: a win at the NSEA 70cm County Champs Qualifier securing her place in the finals held at Hartpury . On an unaffiliated level she qualified Barley for the Trailblazer Finals 2020 at Stoneleigh for the 75cm and 85cm classes.
