19-year-old Ben rides his 11-year-old horse FA Karla (affectionally known as Karla), whom he has had since a youngster. 
Aston Le Walls saw Ben picking up 6th place on the U21’s Intermediate Class, they also achieved top 10 placings and double clears last season which enabled them to be selected to compete in the CCI3* Young rider Class at Cornbury House International Horse Trials. 
Ben and Karla have additionally been selected for the BEF world-class Young Professionals Programme of 2021/22.

They are very lucky to be training and working with Team Jones Equestrian.

Ben has set his sights on progressing to 4* level in 2021, as well as trialing for the Young Rider European Championships in Sweden this year, and will then carry onto the Young Rider Europeans at Hartpury in 2022.
